Terms of Service

By creating an account or using DuoLumine ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

DuoLumine is an AI-assisted communication tool designed to help individuals reflect on and improve communication within their romantic relationships. It is not a licensed therapist, psychologist, or medical provider. The content generated by DuoLumine is for informational and reflective purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, domestic abuse, or an emergency, please contact the appropriate professional services in your country.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to use DuoLumine.

The free tier provides access to 10 AI responses per calendar month. At the end of each month the counter resets automatically.

The paid subscription ("DuoLumine Premium") provides unlimited AI responses for €9.99/month (or the applicable local currency equivalent). Billing is monthly and recurring.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

You agree not to use DuoLumine to:

• Attempt to extract information outside the scope of relationship communication (the Service will decline such requests)
• Circumvent usage limits through automation, shared accounts, or other means
• Upload or transmit harmful, illegal, or abusive content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access the underlying AI models or infrastructure

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using the Service, you grant DuoLumine a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing AI responses and storing conversation history as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not use your content to train AI models.

We aim to keep DuoLumine available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and pro-rata refunds for unused paid periods.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you by email of material changes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuoLumine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
